After Sales Service

Once a system is installed and has passed site acceptance testing (SAT), we offer comprehensive on-going support services. These are normally provided remotely from our HQ in County Cork using secure connections such as VPN, but we can also deliver support on-site where necessary. Our account management team would be delighted to talk to you about your support requirements and give details on how we can meet your needs.

Functional Design Specification
We develop comprehensive Functional Design Specifications in close cooperation with the client. By defining the clients requirements well in cooperation with management and end users of the software, we enable our clients to meet their requirements. We use our years of experience to define the need of the client and identify the best solutions to meet those needs.
Panel Construction
We build PLC and MCC Control Panels in our workshop to the to the latest international standards. We take pride in the quality of our products and ensure they are put through rigorous Factory Acceptance Testing before shipping to the client. Each product is shipped with certifications and test results to facilitate integration and on-going maintenance.
Software Engineering
Our Automation Engineers develop PLC and SCADA programmes to the highest standards using industry leading software packages. We believe in simple and reliable software solutions to meet the clients needs. We mainly develop PLC programmes for the Allen Bradley and Siemens brand of PLCs. Our preferred SCADA software is Wonderware InTouch.
Factory Acceptance Testing
Our electrical panels and software programmes are put through rigorous FAT testing before being brought to site and commissioned.
System Commissioning
Years of experience and a great team of engineers, electricians, technicians and project managers enables CID Automation to commission solutions in a timely and smooth fashion with minimal impact on existing factory operations.
Training
Software solutions are only used to their full potential when the end users are well trained and to that end we provide full training to all users of the systems we commission.
Site Support

Ongoing Development
Continuously improving and adding new functionality are vital. When operators become familiar with new automation solutions the may identify new requirements that were not defined in the FDS or may realise that some things defined in the FDS need to be tweaked to suit the way the process works in reality.
